We arrived in Mendoza around 7:30 after a flight that was about an hour and a half. Driving from the airport you could see the Andies in the background to this small city. Very beautiful.. The area we are staying in......not so beautiful. We are staying at the Hotel Bali where I think the designer also design the set of Orange is the New Black. I will post our view tomorrow. We will go outside the city tomorrow and stay at a vineyard.

Communicating in Argentina has been a challenge. Very few people speak English and apparently they do not understand my Braintree night school Spanish. I think I am not rooooooollllllling  my "r's" enough. I have gotten better at charades however.
